NUS Demo 2012 – Let’s March On Parliament – Against the Tories!
NUS National Demo 2012 – let’s march on Parliament, let’s march on the Tories!

No to fees, cuts, privatisation and record levels of student debt.
DATE WILL BE CONFIRMED SOON SOMETIME IN AUTUMN 2012 – pending decision at the forthcoming NUS NEC.
At NUS Annual Conference last week delegates from across the UK overwhelmingly voted for NUS to take the fight to the Tories and hold a national demonstration against fees, cuts, privatisation and student debt.
It is now important that students show their support for NUS calling the national student demo in London, on Parliament and against the Tories.
PLEASE SHARE THE FACEBOOK EVENT AND INVITE ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS to build the pressure and momentum for the NUS demo to take place in London, against the Tories.
The victorious passing of the motion for NUS to organise a national demo came about as a result of the National Demonstration statement initiated by Kanja Sesay, NUS Black Students’ Officer, and Vicki Baars, NUS LGBT Officer (Women’s Place) which gained significant support from all of the NUS liberation campaigns as well as over 150 student leaders.
The Tories have unleashed the greatest assault on students and wider society for generations and NUS will respond by fighting back – let’s get building the resistance now.
